Droplet Studies — Mini Atlas, Edition 01
A single droplet. An unfamiliar world.
A limited-edition artist publication revealing the extraordinary within something we think we already know. Through experimental materials and close observation, Droplet Studies invites you to see water differently.
Only 40 copies. Individually signed and numbered.
You’ve never actually seen water.
Or have you?
We encounter water every day. We drink it, move through it, watch it fall from the sky. We recognise it instantly.
But what are we really seeing?
What if a single droplet could reveal an entire landscape? What if something so familiar could become utterly unrecognisable?
Droplet Studies — Mini Atlas, Edition 01 is an invitation to question what we think we know about water.
Through experimental photography, material exploration and close observation, artist Juniper Sikora reveals extraordinary structures and unexpected worlds within the seemingly ordinary.
Surfaces become landscapes. Tiny details suggest vast environments. Water behaves in ways we don’t anticipate.
These studies are part of the ongoing Water Response Atlas, an artistic investigation into water as an active participant rather than simply a subject to be photographed.
This is more than a collection of images. It is an invitation to observe differently, to remain curious, and to discover what might be hiding in plain sight.
The closer we look, the less ordinary water becomes.
